Training courses

From the first year that they enroll, PhD students, together with their thesis supervisor, start to build a training program that will evolve throughout their doctoral studies.

A catalogue (in ADUM) lists all the courses offered, mainly by the doctoral school and the Graduate Research School. These courses are managed directly via ADUM (registration, proof of attendance, assessment, etc.). Any courses taken that are not in the catalogue are validated by the ED and should then be listed in the “hors catalogue” section in ADUM (the PhD student must attach an attendance certificate).

During their doctoral studies, PhD students must complete a minimum of 100 hours of training courses. They are advised to follow these courses from the 1st and 2nd years (as the 3rd year is usually spent on writing the thesis) and to update their ADUM portfolio on a regular basis.
