25 research teams spread across host doctoral research teams (Equipes d'accueil EA), and CNRS, INSERM or IRSTEA Research Units. Almost 200 lecturer-researchers and researchers (178 with HDR (authorized to supervise research, 17 authorized to supervise a doctoral thesis/ADT). About 300 PhD students. Between 50 and 60 theses defended every year.
